Five whole humans showed up. FIVE. A new record! Good people, good beer, good cars.
That’s a weird looking tercel... HMM.
Wow! Two Paseo wagons!!!
Obvious best car was obvious
Dat Camry wagon
I’m sorry that there is no full picture of the Fit, which will likely outlast all other vehicles shown here!

Look at all those healthy transmissions.

Yep, very reliable turnout. Even the Camry had a stick with the 4-banger.

If I didn’t have to work I would’ve added a red bike to the mix. Oh well.

Please: oppomeet on east side preferably after 7 on a weekend. I would love to attend, but I must be the working.

Thanks to the two who organized it!

You flatter me with your lies.
Spacebawlz reached out to me and I recommended a brewery I frequent in Lynnwood.

If it wasn’t for my wife objecting to me being gone for hours two Saturdays in a row, I would have come.
I’d love to see the next one more centrally-located. Hell, I might be willing to organize it.

Do go on. Centrally as in North 405?

Wait, someone here has a C63?

RPM, formerly RPM3, aka RPM Esq., he’s been pretty forward about it.

Sadly, that’s a little late. I tentatively plan to set up a meet and cruise on the east side on a coming weekend sometime before the rain resumes. It all depends on finding a good Saturday.

I thought he had a coupe for some reason. I only said that because it seemed like no one on oppo had a C63.

He hasn’t had it for too long... Plus RPM is a good guy who sometimes goes months without posting anything because reasons.

The thought is to meet around Woodinville to Maltby, then proceed to High Bridge, south through Ames Lake, then ultimately end somewhere from Issaquah through North Bend. At the end point we hang out and eat.

You missed out because this pub makes the world’s best root beer too. I even had it at my wedding!
Yes, that’s my favorite road, until you end up behind some old fuck in a BWIK going 30 when they should be going 55.

I wish I could have gone. I really wanted to. Being gone for all of last Saturday on the Leavenworth cruise was why I really couldn’t spend hours away from home today (we had to run errands and she missed me).
I’m formulating a plan to hopefully reduce the risk of that. I will take lead and need someone with a relatively slow or poor-handling car to take up the rear. We’ll roll really slow from the intersection of Fales & Elliott until we pass under 522, then bomb from there to the smoothing point around Crescent Lake Rd. From there, we cruise at ~5 under until the tail catches up, then return to the speed limit. At the T intersection with Ames Lake, we all pull over before resuming a faster run to Highway 202. We then turn left and regroup on Tolt Hill Rd, which we take across to south of Carnation, then continue south on Highway 203. We then take 202 to Snoqualmie or North Bend, where we eat.
If it wasn’t so long before the next session and it wasn’t so expensive, this route takes us right past Dirtfish, and that would be a cool place to play for half a day or so.

I thought you had gotten a 507 edition coupe for some reason.

You were close: it’s a 507 edition sedan.
